Since its founding in 2010, Good Hope Markazil Banatil Islamia Centre has continued to transform the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children by providing a safe home, quality education, and spiritual guidance.
What began as a humble initiative caring for just seven girls has now grown into a thriving Centre supporting over 130 children from different parts of Kenya. Through the vision and dedication of Sheikh Bakari Juma Zuberi, Sister Zainab Yusuf, and Iddi Saidi, the Centre has become a beacon of hope for children in need.
Education remains at the heart of our mission. Every child under our care receives access to formal education alongside madrassa studies guided by dedicated ustadhs and ustadhas. We believe that empowering children with both academic knowledge and Islamic values prepares them for a brighter and more independent future.
Today, we proudly celebrate:
- 3 graduates
- 9 university students
- 4 tertiary and college students
- 19 secondary school students
- 83 primary school students
These achievements reflect not only academic progress but also the resilience and determination of the children we serve. As the Centre continues to grow, we remain committed to nurturing future leaders grounded in faith, compassion, and excellence.
